Steve and Janie Farris grew up and met in Glendale, CA. Steve graduated with an English degree from Whittworth College in Spokane, WA in 1968. Soon thereafter, Steve and Janie married, had two children and relocated to Mission Viejo in 1971 when Steve was hired as an English teacher for the inaugural class at El Toro High School. He taught there until he ventured into a new career as a real estate agent in 1978. Steve went on to get his brokers license and was joined by Janie in 1981 and have been top producers in the area ever since.
Steve, Janie and 12 other top producing brokers created Regency Real Estate Brokers in Mission Viejo in 1991. Regency is the top selling real estate office in Mission Viejo and is currently and consistently one of the top producing offices in South Orange County.
